This is a tension tester - but only for relative use. YOu don't get a tension measurement in pounds, you get a number in units. The number then you record and compare to other racquets or compare to what you recorded when the racquet was first strung and see if it is losing tension. It's still handy for that, but don't count on it to measure exact tension in lbs.
